4Planet

Most organizations on 4Planet carry a Community Listed label. It means the page was built from what the organization publishes, donations go to its own website, and the organization can claim the page.

Every organization page on 4Planet carries a label. In early September 2026, 18 of the 19 organizations listed here carried the same one: Community Listed. This post explains what that label says, and what it leaves out.
A Community Listed page starts from information the organization has already made public. Thirteen of the current listings were added on August 29 and 30, 2026, together with 31 missions imported from Nexus Impacts, a platform where organizations report their programs, figures and evidence.
That shapes what a visitor sees. The description is the organization’s own. Figures that came with an imported mission are labelled "via Nexus Impacts," and the impact section of an organization’s page notes that the figures have not been independently verified by 4Planet. Photographs and documents the organization published as evidence appear on each mission’s Evidence page.

4Planet does not collect donations for a Community Listed organization. Its page links to the organization’s own website, and the giving happens there, on the organization’s own terms.
Someone who works for a listed organization can ask to manage its page, using the link on the page itself. A person on the 4Planet team reviews each request. Once it is approved, the organization can add its own missions, describe its work in its own words, and connect Stripe so that businesses using 4Planet can pay it.
4Planet charges organizations nothing for any of this.

Sign InCommunity Listed makes three statements and no others. The page was built from the organization’s public material. Donations go to the organization directly. The organization can claim the page. The label does not describe a partnership, an endorsement or an audit.
The second label, Partnered with 4Planet, has four conditions. The organization is set up as a partner rather than a community listing, its registration has been verified, it has signed 4Planet’s platform partnership agreement, and it has connected Stripe so it can receive payments. A page shows that badge only when all four are true.
