"My name is Bitoss FRANÇOIS.

I was born and raised in Fort-Mercredi, {A neighborhood located in the

hills above parts of downtown Port-au-Prince. The area takes its

name from an old fort (“Fort Mercredi”) dating back to the 19th

century, though today it is primarily known as a densely populated

Due to a lack of financial means to attend university after completing my

secondary education, I unfortunately fell in with the wrong crowd. It was in

that context that I became addicted to alcohol for years, before entering the

Haiti Teen Challenge (HTC) program.

Today, I am a graduate of HTC, and I am studying international relations.

I was inspired to write my first book after a series of messages titled

“Leading Like Jesus,” preached at Rendez-Vous Christ Church. I realized

that these teachings perfectly reflected the leadership model embodied by

Dr. Julio Volcy and the leaders of Rendez-Vous Church and Haiti Teen

Challenge.

This realization deeply inspired me to write about this leadership style, which

allowed me to adopt a new vision of the world and radically transform my

life."
