Human trafficking happens everywhere, and horrifically, it's rapidly growing.
Create and improve the tools, knowledge, and resources communities need to prevent trafficking and respond safely. We continuously learn what different communities need, then turn that knowledge into practical resources people can use on their own. This includes: Educational resources for youth, professionals, and survivors Self-guided tools communities can use independently Practical safety and response tools for people at risk Ongoing improvements based on research and changing needs
Equip trusted community leaders to recognize, respond to, and help prevent human trafficking. We train social workers, counselors, educators, community leaders, and other frontline professionals to understand how human trafficking happens, recognize warning signs, respond appropriately, and connect people with the right support. Training can be delivered through multiple formats and gives participants practical knowledge and tools they can use within their own organizations and communities.
Equip youth to recognize human trafficking, protect themselves, and support others in their communities. Through in-person training, virtual learning, and an upcoming self-guided Empower Toolkit, youth learn how human trafficking happens, how to recognize warning signs, what to do when they encounter a concerning situation, and where to access support. The goal is to give young people the knowledge, confidence, and practical resources to make safer decisions for themselves and others

Ensure people understand and believe they have deep value, regardless of what is happening to them. For prevention and recovery, it is vital that people understand that deserve health and safe lives for themselves and their peers.
Our instructors and curriculum/resource developers are survivors. This ensures the most qualified and emotionally understanding individuals are guiding our work in the correct direction.
Providing knowledge and resources for community leaders and members to know what to look for, and how to handle it results in a self resilience and preparedness that stops human trafficking before it happens.
