The Set Me Free Project
What It Is Students Against Trafficking (SAT) helps students become leaders in human trafficking prevention within their schools and communities. What Students Do Students move beyond learning and begin taking action by educating peers, promoting healthy relationships, leading prevention initiatives, and helping others recognize risk. Skills Students Build SAT develops practical leadership skills in advocacy, public speaking, communication, peer engagement, bystander intervention, and community leadership. Five-Year Goal Launch 100 college chapters, engage 5,000 student leaders, and reach 15,000 additional people through peer-led education and outreach. Program Support Funding supports chapter development, leadership training, advisor resources, educational materials, technology, and networking. The Goal Turn informed students into active leaders who strengthen prevention in their schools and communities.

When donations become available, 100% will go directly to the charity.
Donation receipts carry the CRA-required fields and a gap-free sequential number, and are signed and issued by eligible registered charities. Other verified partners receive funds without tax receipts.
Consent records, data export and deletion requests, and defined retention periods are built into the platform under Canada’s PIPEDA. Self-declared — no third party has audited us against it.
Every partner and charity application is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
Allocations, settlements and admin actions are written to an audit log.
Students have an opportunity to learn a trade that will help them find a job or bring in additional income for their family. Currently students are trained in Sewing, Tile Work, and Plumbing. In the past, we have offered training in electrical an in the future, we hope to add classes in Poultry Management.
We provide education to students starting with PK2 classes serving students as young as 3, all the way to grade 13.
