4Planet
A working reference to the 2030 Agenda
In September 2015 all 193 UN member states signed the same list. Not a treaty and not binding — 17 goals, broken into 169 targets, measured by 251 indicator codes, with everything due by 2030.
Most explanations of the Global Goals stop at the seventeen colours. This is the rest of it: every target in full, what each indicator actually measures, where the data runs thin, and the work on 4Planet advancing each goal.
Share of targets with enough data to assess, which is a smaller set than all 169. Source: The Sustainable Development Goals Report 2025, UN DESA.

The UN groups the seventeen under five headings. Peace and Partnership carry one goal each — that asymmetry is in the agenda, not a layout accident.
End poverty and hunger in all their forms and ensure dignity, health, education and equality for everyone.
Protect the planet from degradation — safeguarding water, climate, oceans and life on land for future generations.

The seventeen are peers. The 2030 Agenda calls them integrated and indivisible and declines to rank them, so the grid order is the UN's numbering and nothing more.
Ensure prosperous, fulfilling lives and that economic and technological progress happens in harmony with nature.
Foster peaceful, just and inclusive societies free from fear and violence.
Mobilise the means to deliver the agenda through a revitalised global partnership.
